Why my Dad is cool

(Amy shows her Dad the 'Unspoken Telepathy Gun Fight' scene from Spaced, where Mike and Tim show Brian how there is a common connection between all male psyches)
(Amy's Mum comes in, and hears the gun noises being made)
Mum:What is that?oh, 'Spaced' (tut), You and that bloody show Amy, I swear to god
(Dad laughs)
Mum:(looks at Dad)Not you as well?
Dad:Er...
(mum walks out sighing)
Amy:That's so legend
Dad: Did he try and steal a tank then?
Amy:Yeah, basically Mike wanted to be in the army, but Tim dared him to jump out of a tree when they were kids and Mike damaged his retinas so he couldn't be in the real army, and had to make do with the TA- but then he got kicked out of the TA for stealing a tank and attempting to travel to France and take over Paris.
Dad:ah Right, OK then
Amy: I think it's good
Dad:Have you got the DVD of this then?
Amy:(glaring at Dad in a "Duh" kind of way)
Dad:of course you have, it's Simon Pegg, right, well, er, when your mother's gone for a bath can we watch some more??
Amy:(smiling) I think we could manage an episode or two
Dad:Can we watch the paintball one you were telling me about??
Amy:Yes, Dad. Yes we can.
