What a day!

I got up at 9 AGAIN this morning, despite falling asleep sometime after 4, and i have done quite a bit.

none of it productive, mind, but we can ignore that =]

so yeah, started planning out my cinema and society essay- i'm doing a question on the use of stereotypes in cinema during the war- and decided to go to the library to get the books i needed, went to the library to find out that out of the 6 books i needed they only had 1 and it had been taken out. oh yay.

slightly deflated, i came home to find a bored Jimmy and busy Claire, and a fed up charlotte, which was nicer than it sounds because i'd spent the entire morning alone in the house, and didn't know if anyone would be home when i got back =]

Me and Jimmy decided to go for a spontaneous drink, which turned into Jimmy spontaneously buying himself and me ( i only had £2 which i was saving for a laundry day) a bottle of beer and cider, respectively, and a bar of caramel chocolate- we then sat in our kitchen listening to music, talking about gigs and shiz, drinking and scoffing chocolate. IT WAS FAB. =]

it was also a first for me- i'd never drunk alcohol before 7pm before, so Jimmy was witnessing quite the miracle seeing as it was about half 3 =] . Claire said we were 'drunken bums', whilst Jimmy tried to convince me it would be a great idea if we went and sat in his Law lecture with our pints, which he almost did...i wish we had now, it would have been hilarious =]

instead we went for a walk through a big field, where we contemplated stealing a flag but though better of it, and down a path that eventually led to Nickel court, where we argued over what made a city a city and whether or not girls with husky voices were sexy (i said nay, he said yay). when we got back we started to watch 'I Am Legend' but then Jim had to go meet someone

for some strange reason, although i think it's because i'm starting to get a tad tired, i felt a bit down, so i went for a really long walk, and i got back about 15 minutes, i was gone for about an hour just walking =] it was nice, and now i feel better =]

tonight claire's friend lauren has come to Canterbury!huzzah!so me, claire, jas, zoe, lauren and Jimmy are going into town to go to a few pubs, but i'm coming back early cos i'm boring and have lectures all day tomorrow. but it should be pretty cool.

by the by- the latest IT Crowd is one of the funniest so far- if you haven't watched it watch it. Or else i'll find you, ask you why you haven't seen it yet, and unless your answer is deemed acceptable i'll have a bit of a go, but not too much =]

anyhoo, i'm gonna start to get ready now so huzzah =]
