i'm 18 years old and i still get ridiculously excited at christmas!!! our house smells like cooking now =] it's so fab!!
i love how at Christmas people you haven't seen for ages show up at your house =] we saw my Uncle Chris and Aunty Paula today, which was nice. They're like my favourites =]
Except from when Uncle Chris and me had this conversation;
Uncle Chris:So, Amy, How's University?
Me:Pretty fab, cheers uncle chris, i'm loving it
UC:Made loads of new friends?
Me:quite a few, yeah
UC:got a boyfriend yet then?
Me:Er, No
UC:Still??You didn't have one last time we saw you either, did ya?
Me:er...no, i spose i didn't-
UC:that was ages ago
Me:er, well, yeah , i mean, i spose it was-
UC:what's wrong with ya?
Me:erm, well, nothing, i just don't have a boyfriend
UC:you're not gay are you?
Me:no, i'm not gay
UC:well...get a boyfriend soon, yeah?
Me(giving him a thumbs up):I'll try...
I didn't know whether it would've been easier to lie and tell him i was gay. Maybe next time.
me, foz and kage can't hang about downstairs for too long tonight cos ma and pa have got to wrap our presents...er i mean, because Father Christmas is coming...so we're gonna watch crappy films and catch up on the IT Crowd with the help of trustworthy 4OD, which works properly all the time when i'm home, but not when i'm in kent, so there's one thing i don't miss =]
as for the rest of it....I miss it terribly =[ all of my friends, all the laughing, The late nights, the late mornings, all the randomness, how hardly anything is planned and everything is last minute- i like living like that!i got used to it!!!
But yeah- hopefully they all know who they are when i say i miss them much more than i was expecting to. i don't suppose quite a few of them will see this but i know some of them will =]

and to make matters more exciting- we got a microwave today!!and i don't care how sad that makes me sound- i was excited =]
